Empathy Knows No Bounds
Can you believe that while millions struggle to merely survive and marine life is dying in his wake, Tony Hayward went yachting at the Isle of Wright.
Whether he is still the day-to-day incident manager of the spill recovery efforts for BP or not, his action of taking a "deserved day off" leaves a slimy, oily taste in the mouth of millions of affected people. As CEO of BP, he is still responsible for figuring out how to rectify this situation.
If I were a shareholder, I would be outraged.
I'm sure he was terribly saddened by the poor showing of Bob, his purportedly $250,000 yacht. Poor fella.
Isn't this how Marie Antoinette behaved before the French Revolution? Ha! Let the little people eat cake! Better yet, soak it in oil and they will think it's chocolate cake!
