    Hybrid cars are incredibly more fuel efficient than normal cars. This is due to the duel motor. Gas motors operate better at higher speeds, and electric cars operate more efficiently at lower speeds. For example, when stuck in traffic, the electric motor runs, allowing the car to receive the energy benefits. However, once cars begin to move and the speed is greater than 40 mph, the gas motor kicks on and give its fuel benefits.

    Unlike an electric-only car, the hybrid does not need to charge the engine. Rather, it charges while it is running. When an electric motor begins running low, the car switches to the gas motor while the electric charges itself. Therefore, there is no need to ever plug the car up.
