This one reminds me of the tongue-in-cheek "announcement" years ago that research scientists had determined that cancer in laboratory rats was genetically-based!
Actually there is some truth to that comment. I understand that a certain strain of laboratory rats are preferred for cancer research for the very fact that they have been bred to be highly susceptible to getting cancer.
